Scotia Plaza

The Excavation Volume for this large project was over 70,000 cubic meters.

This 665,000 sq. ft. Sports and Entertainment complex is the Home of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Raptors.   This facility was opened in 1999.

This 51 storey Office Tower was completed in 2009

BCE Place,  also known as Brookfield Place is a complex of two Office Towers connected to the underground PATH System.  As part of the design, components of historical buildings were preserved and incorporated into the final design.  These towers were completed in 1992.

This three tower condominium complex is located in Etobicoke and is currently in progress. 

Excavation project for the construction of a new Educational facility a five-storey, 115,000-square-food concrete structure.  The facility will house wet and dry labs for graduate research work, offices, seminar rooms and administrative space.

This complex consisted of eighteen condominium towers including the Northwest, the Apex, Harbourview Estates, Block 24, Luna and the Parade Buildings. York was involved with five of these projects which consisted of over 250,000 cubic meters of soil, debris and rock excavation and on-site soil and water management.

This excavation project was undertaken in 1990.

This dual phase Condominium complex was completed in 2008.

One of Canada's best-known retail shopping centres, the Eaton Centre was completed in phases between 1977 and 1999

This Condominium complex was constructed in three different phases.

Fly Condos are an architectural composition in glass,  stone and pre-cast.  Soaring 24-storeys on Front Street,  it is located just east of Spadina.

This 2,035-seat Auditorium is the Home of the Canadian Opera Company and The National Ballet of Canada.  This facility opened in 2006

The Gibson Square will have two 42 storey towers directly connected to North York City Centre subway and the Empress Walk shopping centre.

This Government Services Building also known as the Joseph Shepard Federal Building was completed in 1977

This project includes two glass towers, 35 and 16 storeys connected by a central podium, about 595 units in total.  Soil remediation and excavation of the 4 parking levels was completed by York in January 2011

This project was in support of constructing a new, partly above ground pumping station.

This 36 storey Office Tower was completed in 1985

This is a two phase Research Facility.  Phase 1 of MaRS Centre opened in September 2005.   Construction of Phase 2 is in progress

  Metro Hall is a Government Services Office complex built fot he City of Toronto.

This international Meeting and Conference facility is comprised of two Buildings - the North Building (1984) and the South Building (1997).  This was the Largest single excavation undertaken in the Toronto Rail Lands.  Approx. a half-million cubic metres of soil and rock were excavated.

The Modern Conduminium tower stands 17 storeys and is home to 343 suites.

This is a Government Service Building located in North York.  It was completed in 1977

This 640,000 sq. ft. complex includes a museum, a visitor's centre, an auditorium and the Ontario Provincial Police services

This facility has the capacity of upwards of 50,000 seated guests.  It was opened in 1989 and is the Home of the Toronto Blue Jays Club and the Toronto Argonauts Football Team.  The Rogers Centre was the Largest Excavation project in Downtown Toronto.  The volume of excavation was in excess of 1 million cubic meters.

 This 2600 seat Auditorium was completed in 1982.

The Scotia Plaza is a 68 Floor Office Tower Building which was completed in 1988.  York achieved a significant milestone with the Scotia Plaza project.  It was the Deepest Excavation of an office building in Canadian History - 110' deep.

The Sheppard-Yonge station is the western terminus of the new subway line.  It was completed in 2002

The Research Tower will be a new 21-storey building to be built at the northwest corner of Bay and Elm Streets in Toronto's Discovery District. EllisDon Corp. is the general contractor. The architects for the project are Diamond & Schmitt Architects Inc. and HDR Architecture.

The Thompson Building is an Office Tower built in 1972-1973

This extensive project encompassed the remediation of highly contaminated soils and was completed in 1993.  It involved major site rehabilitation and environmental decommissioning work and was the largest environmental cleanup in Toronto history. Over 60,000 Tonnes of hazardous soil was excavated and removed while adhering to the strictest health and safety protocols ever applied to a Canadian Remediation project.

The new Toronto South Detention Centre is a 1,650 bed facility,  built on the former site of the Mimico Correctional Centre.

This multi-phase project includes three high-rise condominiums which were completed in 2009
