Completed in 1988, Scotia Plaza is a 68-floor commercial office complex situated in the heart of Toronto’s financial district. The building continues to serve as the world headquarters for Scotiabank and boasts 190,000 m2 of office space along with 40 retail stores. The eight-year construction period is notable for the fact that no disruptions were caused to the Bank of Nova Scotia branch that operated concurrently on premises.
The Excavation Volume for this large project was over 70,000 cubic meters.
