Rogers Centre

The Rogers Centre is a 50,000 seat multi-purpose stadium and is home to the Toronto Blue Jays of the MLB. Originally known as the Skydome, the Rogers Centre opened its doors in 1989 and was noted for being the first stadium to boast a fully retractable motorized roof. The stadium has played host to major international acts such as U2 and the Rolling Stones, and will served as the centerpiece for the 2015 Pan American Games.
